  The news, Nigeria’s foremost news magazine, January 17, 2000 records “Chief Seun
  Sina-Alli lives for the dead. To many, funeral business may be money –spinning but to
  her, it is simply humanitarian.
The news further describe her as a philanthropist in apparent reference to her role in the burial of five Obafemi Awolowo University students who where murdered in their sleep in the hall of residence in July 1999 by suspected cultists Chief (Mrs.) Sina-Alli buried the five students free of charge. After the burial the news was on her trail for an interview.
During the interview, the amiable woman in a man’s world pointed out that, the worst thing that can happen to parents is to dip their hands inside their pocket to buy a casket for a child they brought into the world and to whom they had invested so much. Chief Sina-Alli said further “once a national cake exists and it’s shared; when things turn bitter it should also go round”. Hence her decision to bury the students single handedly.
The attestation of the Sunday tribune of February 20,2002 about her, reads” she carry her task of preparing the dead for burial with the acute disposition of one carrying out a spiritual service of immense responsibility “.
Late Ibadan monarch, His royal Highness Oba Emmanuel Adeyemo Operinde 1, (Olubadan of Ibadan land) also attested to Chief Sina-Alli’s attribute and abilities when he honored her with the Chieftaincy title of Iyalode Aseye of Ibadan land in recognition of her immense role in ensuring a befitting burial for the dead.
Expectedly, Chief (Mrs.) Sina-Alli has been privileged to bury kings, members of the royal family and distinguished personalities, and opportunity that had not come to the way of the men in the profession. Such royal Fathers includes Olubadan of Ibadan land Oba Emmanuel Adeyemo Operinde 1(May 1999), Aseyin of Iseyin (December 2005) e.t.c.
She also buried Chief (Mrs.) R.A.Solanke, a caring and selfless lady whose life was dedicated to caring for the motherless. Of Chief Solanke, Chief Sina-Alli (Nee Agunbiade) said she was “the Mary Slessor of our time and the guardian angel of motherless babies”.
